I strongly believe in and use ethical SEO practices. This means developing pages thats are written for both the site visitor and search engines in mind.
I don’t mess around around with submitting sites to hundreds of directories, adding hidden text, script redirects and other “black hat” techniques. These may work for a while but in the longrun they all eventually fail.
Black hat examples to avoid
- Cloaking
- Hidden text
- Redirects to another page on a different topic
- Doorway pages
- Link farms
Also I have yet to submit a site to Google. You’ll find that natural rankings automatically occur with quality outside links and solid content that relates to the theme of your site.
For the longevity and health of your site I truely believe your much better off spending your time building good pages than trying to fool the Search Engines.
Improve your rankings using these ethical SEO practices and you’ll be rewarded, it just takes a bit of patience!
