Will there ever be another *Google Dance*? – The Index Update of the Google Search Engine called “Google Dance” was used to describe the index update of the Google search engine. Before April 2003 Google’s index update occurred on average once per month. During this _Google Dance_ there was shifting in search results and Google refreshed new backlinks for pages. However after April 2003 Google began to update it’s index on a continuous basis.
Because Google continuously updates, the effects on search results seem to be rather insignificant.
One thing for sure is that Google will keep on tweaking its index just as they always done since the beginning, to try to reach that *perfect mix of quality and relevancy* in their search results.
In a way I suppose you could call the continuous updating of the index a *Google Dance* but maybe more of a Waltz than a Tango like it use to be. For the time being search results will be moving back and forth and Page Ranking somewhat of a mystery.
Another thing you can always count on is that Google doesn’t care how you are listed. It has no remorse nor does it have favoritism. The one thing its out to do is to find relevant sites that are useful and then rank them accordingly.
Your sites relevantly is based on the *quality content and links* pointing in and out of your site. These all must be high quality and directly relate to the theme of your site.

*Wordtracker*

WordTracker offers you the ability to research _what people are searching for_ via the popular meta search services of MetaCrawler and Dogpile.
It provides access to query logs stretching back for two months, which amounts to 350 million queries or 40 million unique search terms. The database is also kept constantly updated, with new data added each week.
It would seem probable that another update of the index including new backward links results will continue to occur but not on a predictable schedule as seen before.
